The stench surrounding the Tasmanian Compliance Corporation is worsening, as the Premier and Deputy Premier both suffered major memory lapses and stonewalled questions that go to serious discrepancies in versions of events provided to both the Tasmanian Parliament, and the Supreme Court.
The Premier, Paul Lennon, blatantly evaded questions in State Parliament today as the heat intensified over his involvement in the Tasmanian Compliance Corporation scandal.
A new week and a new crisis has engulfed the Lennon Labor Government, with Deputy Premier, Steve Kons, appearing to have misled the Parliament during Question Time.
Premier, Paul Lennon, is facing a major test of his leadership tonight, following the admission by the Deputy Premier, Steve Kons, that he misled the Parliament in Question Time today.
The Premier, Paul Lennon, must seriously consider whether his leadership of the Labor Party is in Tasmania’s best interests.
The State Opposition today moved a Motion of No Confidence in the Premier, Paul Lennon, following his outright refusal to explain his involvement in the scandal that this week claimed his latest Deputy Premier, Steve Kons.
